Leading Debt Charities are expecting record levels of calls as Britons recover from their Christmas spending.
Personal debts are already at an alarming rate and with Flexible friends being used to purchase Christmas gifts as well as the Christmas Grocery bills, it's leading to a fear that more people will turn to Debt Charities for help.
The Money Advice Trust believe 5 million could run into financial difficulties.
Even the National Debtline service has seen an increase to Calls, with an average of 715 calls on average being made daily in December.
It comes just days before Christmas when Bank of England, Mark Carney warned about the high level of personal debt.
If you are feeling trapped by debt, there are a number of organisations you can contact. They will offer you a number of solutions which can help towards making your debts more manageable. These include exploring opportunities to raise extra money, writing a budget for 2017 and finding out if you could be better of with Debt management for example.
