You know what it's like, you order something and then realise once it's in your hands it's not quiet to your liking. The advantages of home shopping through a catalogue is the very fact you can return the item.
Next have now introduced a new £1 per collection fee for customers who return an order (excluding those who are subscribed to the Next Unlimited Next Day delivery service) which costs £20 per year.
This means if you arrange a courier to pick up an item or return using the Hermes ParcelShop you will be charged £1 per Collection.
This is the email we received from Next
Customers who have not subscribed to nextunlimited will be charged £1 each time a courier collects a return, or each time they send us a return via a Hermes ParcelShop. The charge is per collection, no matter how many parcels are returned at the same time. Depending on how the customer has paid for the items returned, it will be charged to their nextpay account, or will be deducted from the amount refunded to their debit/credit card.
Returns for nextunlimited customers will remain free for all fashion items collected from your home. Returns to store will also remain completely free. There has been no change to the charges for collection of large and bulky items.
