Argos to Scrap Catalogues?

argos catalogue

Remember sitting down on the Sofa using a pen to highlight the Toys you wanted for Christmas? Well we are always saying Kids of Today don't know they lived and one of our Highlights of Christmas could be about to Vanish for good.

I suppose they could sit on an iPad and choose Christmas presents, but of course, ensure they don't have a pen to ring those presents 🙂

Argos have trialled removing the in store catalogues at some stores. The idea is to see how it affects sales.

Argos now offer the entire Catalogue and some on it's website. They can even help you spread the cost with it's new Catalogue Credit facility which even includes offering a Buy Now Pay Later option.

The advantages to using a website over the Catalogue means you can look forward to up to date pricing and of course Instant Stock checking, the downside will affect those who don't have the Internet and those who just don't like Change.

Argos haven't yet made a final decision but one thing is for sure, Catalogues are moving with the times. Littlewoods and Very dropped it's catalogues last year, this move is a lot bolder. Traditional Argos Customers may not be happy with the move. To find out more about Argos Credit and Argos Buy Now Pay Later please click here.
